My copy arrived yesterday. I would assume that they are sending them out to anyone who has ordered anything from them recently.

TBH there's nothing new in there, and very little that can't be sourced from elsewhere, but it's good to be able to thumb through the catalogue and think about what I'd have.........if only I had the money.

don't know if the 'Performance' catalogue is out yet. The one I've got is the motorsport one.

Are you ringing items you would like Santa to buy John? Now you have a project in need of such shiney and expensive trinkets?

Its amazing how we can sell ourselves the benefits of a Carbon Kelvar, Aircraft Spec, heat resistant, quick release, fully adjustable, prescision crafted, high performance, New For 2006 wobble valve. All for the bargain price of 3995 plus VAT.

Oddly enough, the other half never seems to grasp the absolute neccesity of such items and what a difference it will make, not only to our motorsport performances but, "Things at home" state of the NHS, world poverty and other generally amazing topics.

In the end after many months of thumbing the page with our Holy Grail positively winking at us, "Buy me, you know you want to" we end up settling for something cobbled together with part of an Maxi glove box lid mechinism (despite never owning a Maxi!) some tank tape and 3 odd sized cable ties.

Result,

Everything stays as it was.

At present most of the bits I get are via e-bay.

Just got a steering wheel for the metro. Had been fitted to an F40 (or so the ad said), but a new one is £140+vat in the catalogues and I paid £25, so not too bad ;)

Sure that wasn't a typo, John, as in fitted to an A40 previously? :)

No typo. Probably the closest that I'll ever get to owning one though.
