Just bought myself a new project, wife getting better with pregnancy!

Anyway bought a 1967 Sunbeam Rapier. 1750cc excellent interior and alll the cills and arches solid. engine runs sweet as a nut. all needs to is cosmetic (hopefully)

I will post some pictures when i get round to taking some. so i shall be kept out of trouble over the coming winter months

First car when I came back to the UK,a black K reg.Wanted the H120 but couldn't find one.
Paid 150 for it and after 4 mts got 350 px (for a N reg Vx Victor 2300SL)

No , its not the fast back version, its the one with the with the finns.

same style & colour as attachment. I will keep everyone updated with photos as soon as.

i also had a nice set of alloys thrown in to. Which will look very nice on the car i think.

What made you choose a Rapier? Did you have your heart set on one, or did it just turn up and you thought you'd give it a go?

I 1st thought it was the fast back version. but i turned up and liked it, something different. plus i am a sucker for wooden dash and plenty of dials etc. it was a snip for 300. couldn't leave it there.

Here are the pics of my latest find. Still a long way off from completion but at least it runs well & passed the MOt.

P.S I have since put the alloys on and found the over riders to the front bumper.

Looking again, the front has similar styling to the Wolseley front, with the 2 smaller side-grilles on the front :)

Looks very tidy! Would you care to bring it no Northampton in September to give me a ride out in it? :D

Nice, I like the Mg's. Pity you didn't want a Cambridge, as i might have been able to help there.
