PETROL heads with a passion for British carsare invited to take part in a charity rally at Wicksteed Park, Kettering, on Sunday September 9.
The Brit-Cars.com British Car Enthusiasts rally 2007, is in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, a charity that aimes to make the lives of children who have terminal illnesses happier by granting their wishes.
Administrator of Brit-cars.com Tony Palmer said: "The idea of the day is to get as many British cars, of any age, model or value, to the field, have a fun day and raise money for a very worthwhile cause."
"The charity does so much good work bringing happiness to children who have medical conditions and is charity that touches a lot of peoples hearts."
The event is open to all marques, old and new, with a British heritage including Aston Martin, Caterham, Jaguar, Land-Rover, Lotus, Mini, MG, Morgan, Morris, Noble, Riley, Rover, Triumph TVR and Wolseley.
Last years event attracted more than 80 cars and raised more than £800 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Organisers are hoping for a bigger turnout this year so they can raise even more money.
Entrance to Wicksteed Park is £6 per, to be paid on the main gate on the day.
