Over the years, with the successful export of British products to the Commonwealth and other countries, a number of operations of British Manufacturers were set up in far flung places like Australia, South Africa, India, China and parts of Europe.

British car manufacturers became quite successful at exporting complete designs, whilst local operations became quite adept at engineering local models to suit local market needs. Even in 2005, Britain continues to export its designs, either by JV or sale of the marques as seen with LTI and the sale of MG Rover's IPR to SAIC and the assets later to NAC-MG.

This section pays tribute to the unique British cars made overseas.
