Edinburgh taxi driver Khalid Hafeez firmly believes there’s no better taxi than the iconic TX4 from LTI Vehicles.
An obvious choice for the professional taxi driver, Khalid couldn’t wait to get behind the wheel of his TX4 having recently exchanged his brand new Peugeot E7 for the vehicle.
Khalid commented: “I’m very impressed with my new TX4. The vehicle boasts a number of features that makes my life a lot easier on the road. Picking up fares has never been so easy with the renowned tight turning circle providing much needed manoeuvrability on the busy streets of Edinburgh. The vehicle is also popular with tourists and local passengers alike, as its recognisable shape is hailed the world over.
“It takes no time at all to load wheelchair passengers with its wide integral wheelchair ramp and spacious passenger compartment. Doors on a swinging mechanism also give greater access to the vehicle.
“Passengers will often comment on the TX4’s smooth ride as its suspension tackles uneven road surfaces with ease. Having recently toured the LTI factory in Coventry, I am confident that there really is no other vehicle for the job.”
