Longbridge, Birmingham
By GT at 2008-02-18 17:47
The Longbridge factory in Birmingham, has been home to motor production for a century. Originall building cars for Sir Herbert Austin, under his 'Austin' car brand, it has also helped contribute to the efforts in the World Wars and was last used to produce MG's and Rovers between 2000 and 2005.

The future of Longbridge is not yet known as the saga continues, some of the land is already up for re-development, whilst other parts are claimed to be re-used for production of MG's from 2007 (now 2008).
