North Weald is an airfield, close to the junction of the M11 and M25 in Essex. We use a big patch of tarmac and layout a series of activities – typically these include a
* high-speed 90 degree bend
* handling course (figure of eight and a 360 degree turn joined by a straight)
* slalom course
* short circuit (marked by cones).
The emphasis is on having fun and exploring your car’s, abilities in absolute safety. There is nothing to hit and only one car at a time on any activity. Andy Walsh of 1stLotus will be running the day. Andy is an experienced performance-driving instructor and will give you some guidance, particularly with the high-speed bend.
At this day you don't need a helmet - just you and your car.
