Made the year I was born. As much as i'd love one, I couldn't have a green one (sorry). I'll mention it to a guy at work who also has a soft spot for the P5B.
I can please only one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow isn't looking good either.

Hello Martin! Possibly, although I was hoping to change to something cheaper.

Thanks Tony. It could always be sprayed another colour. It was dark red at one time, before being returned to green.

It would be cheaper...on fuel...but not tax!

Would really love to experience owning a P5B, though.

Sorry Martin. I'm tempted, but I think my heart's set on another Mini! Thanks for the offer.

What type of Mini are you after Goose?

Either an early one (ideally mk1 or 2), or any interesting one really!

Less than 24 hours to go now and it has some bids I'm going to miss it!

    Did it sell?

    Unfortunately not... now listed here:
(please could someone change the opening post?)

99p start.... come on people, bid!
Part exchanges still considered (maybe a Rover 25 or similar!)

Bit of class that. If my ebay'd cars sell, I might just bid. I once 'sold' a car on ebay, only for the bloke to decide that he couldn't afford it either.

If I could find a way to do it, I'd bid on your Cooper Sport. It's just like my old one, but in better condition and with far fewer miles on the clock. Good luck with your sales.

Been watching Ebay, looking for another mg/rover. Sorry Bruce need a hack, already got one fairweather car. Its amazing how many plonkers there who win bids only to pull away when the bidding is over.

What was the reason for pulling away, is there not rules to slap the timewasters?

    Thanks GT

Tim, it was due to a lack of funds! One of those things.

Am sorely tempted, but finances just won't allow at the moment!
Always wanted one of those, such a stately vehicle, I can imagine you don't drive along roads - you float!

I think my stable at the moment is full, I can think of one 34 year old lady on the drive who could do with a couple of grand spending on her, and if I buy another she'll get the hump!!

Me, too! The present Mrs W would soon make herself the ex-Mrs W if I so much as looked at another car - the BGT would have to go!

Goose, why don't you rent it out to us all and earn some money then we can all keep our better halves happy by not buying it but at least we'd get to experience the ultimate in majestic British Motoring?

All being well, it'll be collected on Sunday! Good job really, as we picked up a R25 today .
The F will be for sale once it's been re-MoT'd... purple, black stripes, big exhaust and strange rear lights (already had these things when we got it!), bargain for the Summer!
