Thats is one mental mini.
Looks like it was filmed at Curborough.
I can please only one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow isn't looking good either.
have a look at the lastest issue of mini world(july 06). how about a 6.3L chevy V8 powered mini with 470bhp and its street legal.0-125mph in 11.1sec.http://www.miniworld.co.uk/content/this.htm
to be in England in the summer time with my love CLOSE TO THE EDGE
Good find Gav love the flames and the under bonnet copper pipe work.
And yes that was Curborough Tony.
woo tourque steer to the extreme! Mental!!!
Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
Absolutley mental - great video, cheers Gav
Never thought I'd see an A-series do that!
I wonder what its lifespan is![]()
The torque steer was being exaggerated for the camera...Originally Posted by MaddAussie

That's mad, 225 bhp is quick enough in a car like a Renault Megane 225 Sport but in a Mini - crackers !

I want overrun flames like that on my ZSlol.
Lot of time and effort gone into that Mini though.
I saw one at Croft last year that had a B18C (1.8 vtech) Honda engine in it, with 4 individual throttle bodies and lots of other engine work done, I expect it was arround 250bhp. Didn't see it running though.
Moved to the mini section![]()
Does anyone know if this would be achiavable on a V6 without one of those tacky, illegal flamer kits ? I would love to have proper engine produced flames popping out of the cans !Originally Posted by Shantung Black Tiger

Don't buy a kit... drill a hole into the exhaust, stick a spark plug through the hole, connect spark plug to battery via switch in cabin, Now tweek the engine to run rich (the richer the better) and when you want the flame drive the car and press the new button... Bang instant flame!Originally Posted by Mat C

That's one awesome Mini, but I can't help thinking a supercharger would have a better delivery of torque right from low revs! It can be done, I saw a brilliant S/C installation on an A series recently.
Cheapest way to enrich the mixture - buy a tuppence resistor off Ebay!
Actually my BGT on twin carbs does a wonderful pop-popping sound coming off the throttle at 4k rpm!
